So many things crammed inside, some things hard to find, others to my embarrassment exposed right on top….I’m embarrassed to even look inside around others…

Am I like my bag – my bag which holds receipts, shoes a bus pass, money, change, lipgloss, eyeliner, a bible, pens, a notebook, tissues and empty candy wrappers? Am I like my bag holding onto a bunch of things in one spot, giving equal attention or priority to everything my bag contains being piled on top one of another? Have I become so full, heavy and difficult to carry sometimes? Could it be that I am like my bag? Well, its insides do reflect a part of who I am, what it contains and how neatly it is arranged…I am hoping that this bag does not reflect me.

Could my temple be so junky inside? I wonder sometimes what my God sees when He is looking at me and does it look similar to my pocketbooks’ insides? Am I still holding onto things in the past? Oh there is so much inside it can make you gasp! Jam-packed with old receipts – showing the holding on to the past and indecisiveness about the future ( whether or not I’m returning the item which most likely, I’m not) though I myself need to restart wondering if its time for me to go back to the molding table or even if I ever got there yet; for He is the potter and I am the clay.

Realizing its a shame to carry so much junk around. So much baggage like my heart mind and body that needs to be eliminated in order to make carrying my bag, pocketbook easy light and free.

Accessing easily what is already inside that I need like my bible, tissues money and makeup, FORGIVENESS, GRATITUDE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS.

Noticing that like my bag I need to be dumped out and cleaned out!

Needing to re-prioritize what gets kept inside my temple and what trash needs to be removed like, empty candy wrappers, receipts and old makeup. Like UNFORGIVENESS, IMPATIENCE, LUST, JEALOUSY & GREED…things that try to get in the way of reaching the valuable things to me that I need inside…like my bible, bus pass, money, change, FORGIVENESS, PATIENCE, LOVE, JOY that resides deep within, so that I MUST go before my God so that He may clean…

…My temple – so like my pocketbook I don’t become a cluttered mess carrying around a whole lot of heavy baggage and burdens that don’t belong there anyway.

Have I become like my bag letting the outside conditions affect my appearance?…The wear & tear and sin of the world along with my own sins imposing spots on my outer fabric or physical being?

Needing to daily be dusted off and cleaned up by my Father’s forgiveness!

Like my bag needing to be renewed and not thrown away – when I was new, I was clean and organized needing to regroup and reassemble..can’t be like my bag thrown anywhere …needing to take care by being mindful of where I go and what I see..my environment around me so like my bag I can still function yet without spot or stains without sin.

Knowing that my bag holds my valuables truly I should care gently for such a device ~ but then I also hold something even more valuable in my temple – my soul – my LIVING GOD.

1st Corinthians 3:16

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

The supple flesh of femininity
Is full of pound and meat defined
In rounded stalks, my form that is enshrined
More fertile offerings, divinity
For hourglass found sexuality
Not sapling shoots of slender greens declined
To skeletons of females left confined
With non-developed anonymity
I’m not that graceful twig in winter that
When under weight of snow and ice will snap
And splinter to the ground while simply stripped
I am the bountiful fruit bearing plant
Soft curves of petals blossoming to wrap
Legs, thick and shapely. Childbearing hips

I am here and focused only to celebrate what is already mines…THESE ARE MY CURVES, natural, soft and solid at the same time.
Gentle to the touch…my outlines are not straight lines, you will find.

They are the curves that wrap around my shoulders, waist, breasts, legs and thighs.
I will not let you put me down because they are not “proportionate” to one another in size in your eyes.

I can’t be like no one else, I can only be me.
So much of my life passed by before I could see this and state this confidently.
Now I can truly love and accept me because a positive attitude and self love is key.

It is time to stand up and express, unwrap and expose my inner and outer beauty, for I am not the standard, the norm, I am more than that you see…I am my own definition of true beauty.

My heart was filled with sorrow when I was shown a vision of our youth tomorrow.

Then I was led to say with tears in my eyes, what can I do, what must I do?

Cause my prayers went up like gas prices but every situation reminds me of the book of Job first chapter 1 to 12.

When satan attacked his character. Same thing happening to our youth.

Under attack like Bush invades Iraq, it’s not like he’s using new tactics to twist our youths’ minds like grapes make wine.

Satan has the same guns from 6000 years ago, it’s just those guns got bigger bullets now.

Hollow tips dipped in influential bliss. Blow!

He wraps his fingers around their eyes to create a blindfold leading them down a path of sex, lies and videotape.

Peer pressure is more than just influence, it’s become the new cancer.

They searching for a way to fit in, following trash talking rappers, and acting like gangsters is their answer.

Getting suspended from school, and cursing at the teacher, stealing from moms is the mentality.

Does conciousness ever kick in and does that same youngbuck ask God, why me?

Is it self control or remote control? either way…God is in control.

Since He is, I know there is a means to a wonderful end.

It’s pleasing to know that God is the author and finisher of every story.

Using these youngbucks for His future glory.

But I still get butterflies and a knot in my throat anticipating which youngin is next to be outlined in chalk.

I’m a grown man that rides the bus so I know first hand about the attitudes and disrespect that happens when our youth leaves their cage called school.

I call it a cage cause there’s metal detectors at the doors.

So someone fears them like wild beats.

Took God out of the program so the evil increases.

Demons got a knife and a fork in their hands, on their minds they begin to feast.

We should teach our teachers to have the mind of a priest.

Tell them about God when the principal ain’t lookin.

So we can keep our youth out of central bookin.

Stop little Mary, Cookie & Becky from hookin,
we teach them to look both ways before they cross the street, but they just not lookin.

If things are supposed to get worse and this is our youth of today, I’d rather die before I see the youth of tomorrow.

Unless we make it a priority to preserve them.

I’m about to go Rambo and lock them in their rooms and spoon feed them the Word of God until I see it visually pour out of their ears, but that wouldn’t be Christlike.

Our job is to plant and water then God gives the increase, I’m appliying for a job to be a gardener..call me Mr. Green thumb.

Cause I’m ready to plant seeds that grow higher than a lotus tree then I want it to rain down on me like Phil Collins or rain down on them, so they can grow in Christ Jesus.

Cause our youth is in a state of emergency.

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions, according to your mercy remember me.

Fall down on me today and wipe my tears away

Shine on me with you marvelous sun rays

I have a new mind state and no longer in this rut will I remain.

For there is a new season to come and the new journey in my life begins today.

So I am going to enjoy my life more than ever even if I have to go dance in the rain!

Yes I will try harder to take better care of me.

Yes I will be more loving to my friends and family.

Yes I will take time out to get to know my God .

Yes I will finally learn to love my unique bod!

Yes to positive thoughts and clear goals for my success…

For the rain clouds have passed and no longer will I rest.

Inside, while the world grows and moves without me joining in..

It’s time for a new season in my life to begin. Say YES!

She is the type that likes to smile a lot, seducing people into her false ways.

She is a phony, as fake as a woman with a mask..trying hard to make you jealous because she likes her own swagg.

Her presence is demanding… it’s quiet but it’s loud.

She changes the atmosphere with arrogance because she is just so proud.

Proud that she’s an agitator, yes just an instigator she seems to love the haters and now you feel like a hater.

Now you are feeling it too much to hold it inside, you wonder why?

Is it because you want something that she only has?

Is it maybe that you wish you had that sass?

What is it really about her you can’t stand?

Is it your undestanding of her that is false and this you can’t grasp?

Did she overlook you more than once and you took a personal offense?

So much so, that when she walks in the room, you wish you had left?

Or is it that you noticed she’s alot just like you and you can’t stand the fact that this is true?
