This year I decided to do more networking and events for my business, the first up was my first business expo. This event called for business casual attire. I have invested all kinds of funds in my business but not in my wardrobe, so it was time to upgrade. In my search, I found some beautiful pieces and had to share to help us all update our spring/summer wardrobes for those casual Fridays or business casual events.

I prefer outfits that are versatile, ones where you can dress down with some sneakers or dress up with a pair of wedges or pumps. Spring and summer tend to be our most colorful seasons which means we can have all types of fun with our fashion choices. When selecting plus size business casual items for spring, I turned to Avenue, Dressbarn, Macy’s, Torrid and Lane Bryant for inspiration.
