Full Figured Fashion Week® will be here in a few weeks! I can’t even believe that it is the last one. The Boutique and Retailer Showcase is always off the charts, bringing together fashions from around the world. The finale show taking place June 22nd will feature some incredible designers. Here is what to expect:
This is a beautiful collection with designs that are reminiscent of 40′ and 50’s glamour. I love that they are a full design house who is dedicated to staying true its brand and mission.
I have been anticipating seeing a full collection from this designer for years! I have drooled over pieces I have seen on various people in the entertainment industry and EVERY ONE is a show stopper. It is young Hollywood and Cabaret all in one!
Yolanda Ann (owner of Ego Boutique) will bring to the runway one of a kind pieces that she has created as well as pieces from the leading manufactures in the country. Available styles in her boutique are available in sizes 4 to 22.
This is one of the most trusted companies in the industry for ready to wear. Kiyonna will never disappoint in quality, style and sophistication. With sizes ranging from 0x to 5x, I can attest to them flattering every curve. I am looking forward to what they have in store.
Faluma Resort Wear by Jewel Shannon
I fell in love with the resort wear from Jewel Shannon in 2009. Flowing and beautiful, each piece transports you to an island getaway! This year the destination is Africa with a collection inspired by African traditions.
I first became acquainted with MODAMIX during FFFWeek 2013. A couple of their pieces were in the swag bags we received. The jacket and skirt became an instant staple in my wardrobe. They were both comfortable and flattering. I am looking forward to seeing more.
I have been a fan of Robert E. Knight for years. I am a little biased though. Robert created a one of a kind dress for the 2010 Fuller Woman Expo campaign worn by the late Mia Amber Davis. His pieces are timeless classics that are highly sought after.
If you are familiar with Shanda Freeman you can’t help but be excited about this collection. We anticipate a lot of sexy! Shanda’s previous collections were crafted so beautifully that you saved her pieces for a very special occasions. I am happy to see that this new collection will be a preview of pieces that will be available to a broader audience online.
I first came in contact with Tru Diva Designs on Facebook and became an instant fan! I love that her pieces are figure flattering and bold. You can never say that that Tru Diva is a safe brand. If you are fashion forward and ready to think outside your fashion comfort zone, the first place to look is here.
Since launching in 2009, Full Figured Fashion Week® has introduced the world to the best fashions in the industry. Don’t miss the incredible event! Tickets are on sale now at www.fffweek.com.
