1. How did you get your start as a make-up artist? What is your specialty.
My background is theater. My parents had a theater production company. I grew up watching/helping behind the scenes. My specialty is the makeup of the eyes! They say the eyes are the window of your soul. I like to
Make my clients look Natural but with a twist.
2. What inspires you when you create a makeup look for a client?
I love being creative. My clients’ faces are like blank canvases. I can’t wait to enhance their beauty. I always envision the runway. I want my clients to feel like they are the next top model! I want them to feel Elegant, sexy, and classy.
3. What are some of your favorite products to use?
My top Favorite products are MAC, NARS, Ben Nye, Origins, and Bare Essentials.
4. What advice to you have for “curvy girls” that may not know where to start when it comes to putting on makeup?
I say start simple until you feel comfortable with makeup. You can build from there. Don’t be afraid to try COLORS. Don’t get stuck in the traditional way of wearing makeup. If you want to wear blue mascara…then do it! Have fun with it.
5. If you could give any cartoon character a makeover who would it be, and what would you do?
I would have to say Snow White. I would have done a different hairstyle and color. Her skin is too porcelain for the color of her hair. I would have gone lighter for the hair color and an Anna Wintour (Editor of Vogue Magazine ) signature bob. Then add some bronzer to her cheeks.
