2013 Spring Plus Size Trends

As the weather begins to warm up it’s time to start thinking about the fashion trends ahead of us. I’m talking about 2013 spring trends for plus size women. Whether you embrace all of them at the same time or one at a time, following this guide will keep you looking fashionable for the entire season.

With Sheer, Anything Goes!

This spring, designers are daring plus size fashionistas to give sheer a try. You won’t see anything too racy but a sheer back or arm never hurt anyone.

Stripes, Stripes & More Stripes!

This spring it’s all about being bold in stripes. Whether you’re wearing them with denim or they’re standing alone in a maxi dress, nothing says crisp like this nautical classic.

Abstract Prints, Abstract Thoughts!

Abstract prints are giving floral prints and pastels some competition. This year designers are pushing the envelope by introducing bold prints that are reminiscent of the 60’s & 70’s.

Black & White All Over!

The term, “opposites attract” is an understatement.  The black & white trend makes it’s way to the forefront by being co-dependent on each other.  Alone, both colors are pretty neutral but together they’re magic.

This should get you started as you begin to build your spring/summer wardrobe.  Next week we’ll uncover colors that are hot this spring.

Comments

  2. Thanks Anna! Let us know if you have any specific fashion question.

  3. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added”
checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails
with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Cheers!
