Every morning I Google, “Plus Size Women” on the internet and I’m always greeted with titles that ooze shock factor. It’s as if journalists know which word combinations will make you say What! and then click on an article. Who cares if the title of the article is misleading. The goal is to get you to click and then read, right? WRONG!!

After seeing misleading title after title I’ve decided to round up some of my favorite misleading titles of the day.

Shocking! Plus-size model wears bikini!

• Robyn Lawley is a beautiful curvy model and she’s definitely making headlines after joining Ralph Lauren but there is nothing shocking about this.  In fact it’s old news but apparently the writers at SFGate didn’t get the memo a few months ago.

Plus-Size Models Strip to Expose Bullying

• In the ‘Love Your Body’ Editorial from Plus Model Magazine plus size models are baring skin but for some reason when you call it ‘striping’ you just cheapen and miss the entire point.  Perhaps I’m just being sensitive but I expect more from Marie Claire Australia.
