‘SNL’ Adds Newcomers Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson & Cecily Strong To Cast

Aidy Bryant joins the cast of ‘SNL’

If you’ve stopped watching Saturday Night Live over the years, now you have a reason to tune in. Producer Lorne Michaels announced Monday that newcomers Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson, and Cecily Strong will join the featured cast of SNL.

The new cast members on the sketch comedy show will replace fan favorites Kristin Wiig, Adam Sandberg and Abby Elliott.

Each of the newbies hail from the Chicago comedy scene where break out stars like Tina Fey, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray got their start.

I’ll admit, I’m not an avid SNL watcher. The only episodes that I’ve tuned into during recent years were the one’s hosted by Gabby Sidibe, Betty White and Melissa McCarthy but with the addition of comedienne Aidy Bryant (a plus size diva), I’ll definitely tune in to see what SNL does with her talents.

If you’re excited to see what Aidy brings to the table, check out this video of her flexing her entrepreneurial muscles.
