Frenchie Davis Releases A New Video For Dance Hit “Love’s Got A Hold Of Me”
Songbird Frenchie Davis recently released her first smash single “Love’s Got A Hold of Me,” produced by rising star Marco Borrero. To write the single she teamed up with international singer/songwriter Janice Robinson (Ashley Tisdale, Deborah Cox). The song will be featured on Frenchie’s upcoming debut “dance pop” EP. The accompanying video is an epic Mad Max style video directed by Ch’an Andre and Brian Friedman (Britney Spears).
Frenchie has appeared on a number of national television shows and on Broadway. She first caught our attention when she appeared on season two of the FOX show American Idol. After A.I., Frenchie moved on to join the Broadway where she became a cast member in Rent and played the role of Effie White in Dream Girls. She was nominated for a Grammy for her involvement in the revival of Ain’t Misbehavin.
Recently, Frenchie joined Team Christina on NBC’s hit show The Voice, becoming one of the Top Four Finalists. Her cover of “When Love Takes Over” landed at #3 on the iTunes Dance Chart, launching her undeniable talent into the national spotlight yet again.
We can’t wait to hear her new album but in the meantime take a look at the video for “Love’s Got A Hold of Me” and tell us what you think.
