Cassandra Jones-McBryde is the Executive Producer of the International Fuller Women Expo and is responsible for bringing together a number of outstanding local and international speakers and celebrities, seminars and workshops that attract attendees, sponsors, vendors and exhibitors from throughout North America.
A Detroit native, Cassandra is excited about the strides that have been made during the Fuller Woman Expo. Letting women know that they are apart of a community that embraces them is very important to Cassandra and is the premise behind the International Fuller Woman Network , which she is the Founder. Upon joining this community of women “with arms that support each member“, women can interact with one another through the facebook fanpage: The International Fuller Woman Network. Now with a base in Nigeria, The Fuller Woman Network is truly connecting curves around the world. Cassandra is also the C.E.O. of LaFaye consulting specializing in event planning,fashion show production and plus wardrobe styling.
Cassandra also serves as the Features Editor for Daily Venus Diva. This segment provides news and information that effects all woman. It has been an honor for her to be able to share with global readers her perspective as it relates to many facets of the plus community.
Cassandra is also the co-founder and C.E.O. Pretty Girl Project, a non profit organization that helps girls realize their inner and outer beauty during critical stages of development. This is achieved by various initiatives and programs developed throughout the year including Pretty Prom Princess Event that gift prom dresses, career counseling, age appropriate make up classes to area teens in need.
In more service to the plus community, Cassandra will be opening the first boutique for plus women in the downriver area called The Curvy Corner which will be located in the Telegram Business Center in River Rouge.
Cassandra is an Executive Board Member of Sisters Acquiring Financial Empowerment, a non profit that helps women obtain financial stability while transitioning from domestic violence.
