2012 Democratic National Convention Announces An Eclectic Lineup Of Performers

Amber Riley & The Foo Fighters

The celebrities performing at the 2012 Democratic National Convention reads like the ULTIMATE summer music festival.  Everyone from R&B songstress Mary J. Blige, rock band Foo Fighters, funk and soul band Earth, Wind & Fire and Glee’s resident diva Amber Riley will perform during the 4 day convention.

Curvy songstress, Amber Riley will perform on the National Anthem on September 4th at the Time Warner Cable Arena.  She will be joined by Ledisi who we interviewed earlier this year.

“This roster of performances only adds to the excitement building in Charlotte for the historic week ahead of us,” the 2012 Democratic National Convention taking place in Convention Chair Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa said in a statement. “The tens of thousands who will attend Convention events in person, and all those tuning in across the country, should be ready for quite a show.”
