Last night viewers watched as Oprah Winfrey traveled to Barbados for an honest and intimate conversation with singing superstar Rihanna during the season two premiere of Oprah’s Next Chapter. During the interview the two women discussed several revealing topics including why Rihanna felt protective of Chris Brown following their 2009 heated argument that resulted in him being arrested and pleading guilty to assault charges against her. Rihanna also tells Oprah how Chris Brown being arrested affected her and she later addresses being named the sexiest woman alive.
Oprah’s Next Chapter is hosted and produced by Oprah Winfrey, airing on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. The series premiered on January 1, 2012 at 9/8c.
