When I first heard about this my immediate thought was “FINALLY!!!!!” Now that I’ve had a chance to let it sink in, I started to think about who I wanted to see as the face of this campaign. Of course, the obvious answer would be myself (duh), though the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. So then I thought about famous (and not so famous) faces in the plus size community. I’d really like to see Rosie Mercado rock a pair of Kardashian denims. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, but she’s also really curvy and someone who is more so my body type. Then there’s Denisha Lewis. Some may know her as the beauty who was in the running for the Miss Curve 2011 contest, but I know her as my fb friend. Side note: I was also in that contest. :) Anyway, I think she would be awesome for that campaign as well because even though she is lesser known than say Rosie Mercado, she has a quality like Rosie to where I don’t think the success would go to her head. Finally, Velvet D’Amor. I realize Ms. Velvet does not need that campaign, but Velvet is Velvet and I think she would rock the hell out of the Kardashian line. I think she would bring a whole different kind of sexy vibe to it and I’d be really excited to see that type of direction. Anyway, those are my two cents. Good luck ladies and may the best kurves win! 😉
