Christina Hendricks adds 2012 Emmy Award Nominee To Her List of Accomplishments.

This year she’s being nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in A Drama Series for her role as Joan Harris in AMC’s series Mad Men.

Since receiving the spotlight for her role as Joan Harris on the AMC series Mad Men, Christina Hendricks has been turning heads and melting the hearts of men everywhere.

Hendricks began her career on Showtime’s Beggars and Choosers. She appeared with Taye Diggs on series Kevin Hill, ABC’s The Court with Sally Field, and in recurring roles on Firefly and ER. Recently named by Esquire Magazine as The Best Looking Woman in America, she was honored with a collectible Barbie in her likeness, which drew fan ire when Mattel released the doll without Hendricks signature curves. Hendricks recently appeared in Life As We Know It, Drive, and I Don’t Know How She Does It.

She’s currently working on films Ginger & Rosa (post-production) and Seconds of Pleasure (pre-production).

The 64th Primetime Emmy Awards air LIVE on ABC Sunday September 23rd at 7pm EST.
