Jordin Sparks Shines On Poster for ‘Sparkle’

For the first time in a long time I’m excited about a movie being released. Sparkle starring Jordin Sparks and the late Whitney Houston is set to hit theaters in August 17th of this year and I am stoked!

I’ve been a fan of this movie for years. The original film was released in 1976. In case you’re unfamiliar with the plot I’m happy to give you a brief synopsis of the film.

Set in the 1960s, three sisters form girl group and soon become Motown sensations, but fame becomes a challenge as the close-knit family begins to fall apart.  That’s all you need to know for now.

A few weeks ago the official poster for the film was released and I love it!
