Recreate Adele’s Louboutin Manicure
There used to be a time when all you needed was a pair of standout eye-popping stilettos to match your purse. Today, your outfit also calls for a custom manicure. Embellished nail art adorned the red carpet this season as the hottest new accessory.
Celebrities like Adele and Rihanna are sporting dagger-shaped nails inspired by their heels that are both daring and glamorous. From the colors of the soles to the bedazzled details, mani-matching is a stylish beauty touch.
Follow these easy steps to recreate Adele’s Louboutin Manicure as seen at the Grammys from the experts at Nailtini.
- Trying to paint the underside of your natural nail might be difficult and too messy to work with, even for skilled professionals. Use artificial nails or tips instead. Trim or file your natural nail down so it can’t be seen over the tip of your finger. Size artificial nails to all 10 fingers and set aside.
- Paint the underside of each nail/tip with two coats of classic red Nailtini Bloody Mary and allow the polish to dry completely.
- Apply 1-2 drops of nail glue to artificial nail and press onto nail bed holding in place until it sets. Repeat for all nails. Quick tip: Be careful not to use too much – you don’t want it seeping out the sides.
- Paint tops of nails with your choice of lacquer. To mimic Adele’s Louboutin nail, embellish with rhinestones or a glitter topcoat like Nailtini Sparkler. Be sure to finish with a Dry Martini so you’re limo ready in a flash.
Nailtini sets the bar high with the only line of nail lacquer truly designed and formulated for cocktailing — layering from base to top coats in a never-ending menu of colors and special effects. Polishes are triple-free with a price range from $6-$15. Available for purchase at www.tinibeauty.com, www.beauty360.com and specialty retailers nationwide.

If you’re using acrylic nails you can always apply the tips & have the tips painted in the Louboutin red or any color you prefer. Once they dry- which Will take some time you can apply your top coat in a contrast color-I used to do a pink underside & black top…then proceed with your new set & fill! I had my nail tech play around with this back in 2009!
