As 2011 comes to an end, there are so many things to reflect upon and to be thankful for. Staying true to this month’s issue which is all about showing Gratitude, our DVD Editor’s are sharing what they are grateful for this year. Our Editor’s are an amazing group of women and each month they lend their voices to DailyVenusDiva.com in an effort to inspire and motivate our readers. I am grateful to each of them for their dedication, hard work and the positive impact that they have on the plus size community. They inspire me daily and I’m sure that they do the same for you.

I am grateful for the love of family and friends. Even though this year had some challenging moments, every struggle was met with a blessing, every trial was coupled with triumph. I am grateful for Gods grace.

If I were to list everything that I was grateful for it would be endless! I am thankful to God for my life, health & strength as well as my husband, family and friends. This year has been an adventure for me; trying out things I have never done before and meeting new and interesting people as well as stepping outside of my own comfort zone in certain areas of my life. It hasn’t been an easy year but it has been blessed. I recently found out some excellent health news and am thankful for all of those who prayed for me while I was waiting on healing to occur. I plan on really focusing on my health by dedicating to a workout regimen while living my life to the fullest with my hubby and working hard to make a positive difference wherever I go and in whatever I do. I expect another miracle this upcoming year, stay tuned!

2011 has proven to be an amazing year for me. I am thankful for the opportunities that were presented to me and the people that supported me through all of the ups and downs. I am thankful for another year on this earth to understand and appreciate the woman I have evolved to be. I am thankful for great, family, friends and occupations and the ability to touch other women’s lives which in turn enriched my life. The theme for my 2012 is “painting my life with sparkle.” Everything that I will do and think about doing will shine brighter thanks to that little extra energy that I put into my work and into people around me. I am thankful for another year of prosperity and wishing you the same.

I am so blessed!!!!! I am grateful for my family, without them I would not be able to pursue my dreams. It’s their support, love and understanding that makes a huge difference in my life! This year I am grateful for my health and my family. My oldest son started college and got his first job. It was another year with my mother in our lives even though she is still residing at the hospital. Every moment with her is a beautiful long lasting memory. I have an article scheduled to appear in Latina Magazine in February 2012. I got to work with great artists like Tyrese, Trey Songz and Toni Braxton and her sisters. I was blessed with making 17 years with my adoring husband. And last but not least my life is rich with all of the amazing sisters of the Daily Venus Diva community and finally meeting our beautiful Valery Amador after almost ten years of cyber friendship.

As always, I am grateful for God bringing me through another year. I thank Him for the good times and for the bad ones so that I may learn and continue to grow. I am grateful for a wonderful family and a support system that has NEVER failed me.
