Greetings Beauty Readers,
I had a shocking realization. IT’S GETTING COLD! Yes winter is approaching fast and taking no prisoners this year. So you need to prepare yourself. Personally I want to look like a cross between an eskimo and Dynasty’s Dominique Deveraux! I also want to achieve this look without PETA giving me a home depot red paint bath. The answer is simple FAUX FUR!
Faux fur is artificial fur that is made from synthetic fibers. The garment may be woven or knit in a variety of synthetic fibers although the most common are Acrylic and Modacrylic. These coats, hats, jackets, throws and vests should be cared for just as if they were your Great Grandma’s rabbit shawl. For the best look brush your beast. Oh excuse me! Brush your coat. To me a faux fur is the same as having a synthetic hair weave, excessive heat is NOT good and brushing it often will allow you to retain the luster and shine of the fibers.
When selecting the color and style take into consideration your height and hair color. You’d want to buy a faux fur coat similar to your hair color.
Fur is and will always be symbols of status so why not fake it until you make it?!
