Docu-Series Starring Modeling Mother/Daughter Duo Premieres On OWN

Earlier this year Oprah Winfrey featured a stunning all-star lineup of Supermodels on the Oprah Winfrey Show. The models talked about their rise to the top, their struggles while at the top and the difficulty of juggling family and a thriving career.

The show included Beverly Johnson who stood out to me because of her candid honesty. Apparently, she stood out to Oprah Winfrey as well because “Beverly’s Full House,” a docu-series that follows Beverly Johnson and her family will premiere on OWN in February.

In “Beverly’s Full House,” Beverly Johnson steps out of her role as glamorous fashion icon and opens her home to her daughter Anansa (a plus-size model), son-in-law David (a former NFL player), and their newborn baby Ava, in an effort to reconnect with her daughter and to help her growing family get ahead financially during a tough economy. Described as Humorous and heartfelt, “Beverly’s Full House” explores the unpredictable dynamic between mother, daughter and son-in-law.

As a woman who is close to my own mother, I am curious and anxious to see their mother-daughter dynamic on the television screen.
