A few weeks ago well known 80′s/90′s rapper Heavy D. (Dwight Arrington Myers) performed a medley of his fan friendly hits during BET’s 2011 Hip Hop Awards. Today he was rushed to the hospital only to be announced dead by 1 p.m. according to sources.
Heavy D’s hits included “The Overweight Lover’s in the House,” “We Got Our Own Thang,” “Now That We Found Love” and the theme from the hit television show “In Living Color.”
Details of his death are still developing. He was 44.
