The newest show putting the spotlight on plus sized models is NuVo Televisions “Curvy Girls”. Our West Coast Beauty Editor Rosie Mercado is joined by a cast of beautiful plus size models as they carve out their own paths in the plus size modeling world. Additional cast members include Denise, Lorna and Victoria.

I will be watching this one! Because that show they put on Big & Sexy Disappointed me to the Fullest! The budget for that show sucked and it really didn’t hit home for me, so I will be watching with arms wide open for this one…I’m so tired of people in the media world jumping on the Big & Beautiful band wagon and then falling really short of how to treat and show case my world..

I wish they had someone that looked like me, a black girl, but yes, I will support my curvy Latinas and watch. I too, tried watching Big & Sexy, and couldn’t get into it. Not enough diversity. This is a little better!
I wish we had programmes like this over here in England, bigger people are normally show as either thick, stupid or lazy or even all three!
Unfortunately, I don’t get that station here in Michigan. Hopefully I can watch it on Youtube. I really liked the Big Sexy, I just wished it was longer.
