Nina Taylor, Host of Fashion's Night Out Plus
September 8th marked the very first Fashion’s Night Out Plus in Old Town Alexandria Virginia. Curvy girls in the Washington DC area gathered at Beautyfull Boutique for fashion, food and fun. There were several giveaways including Queen Latifah’s new perfume Queen of Hearts, A pair of Fever Shoes, an Ahsaki designer dress, a lingerie basket from the Full Cup, and an amazing dress from Curvaceous Boutique. There were several competitions for best dressed and best shoes as well as raffles for the bevy of prizes. Attendees were able to meet and greet each other prior to the fashion show. Attendees included seasoned and new bloggers, models who have been in the industry in a variety of capacities, boutique owners, designers, national competition winners and locals who enjoy fabulous plus size fashion.
Fashion’s Night Out Plus featured plus size fashions from Beautyfull Boutique a plus size consignment shop in Alexandria Virginia, One of NYC’s most innovative businesses Pop up Plus and the high fashioned styling’s of Curvysta. Attendees were also able to review and buy from accessory boutiques Ear Candy Accessories and NickyB’s Accessories as well as view the Arturo Rios Fall Hat Collection. The attendees enjoyed the fashion while sampling hor’douvers and drinking the signature plus margarita provided by the Margarita Man.
The FNOP team received positive feedback on their event and will continue to enhance and expand the event in coming years. Plus size women deserve and enjoy well organized meeting grounds to celebrate our curves and our community.
