September 18th those in the entertainment industry were honored during the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards.
Melissa McCarthy took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the CBS comedy Mike & Molly.
Earlier this year McCarthy (cousin of Jenny McCarthy) gained even more popularity for her role in Bridesmaids and she scheduled to appear on SNL on October 1st.
Another curvy winner of the night was Loretta Devine. She won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama for her role on Grey’s Anatomy.
If you love Ms. Devine’s charm like we do, make sure you watch her in ABC Family’s new show, State Of Georgia. In the show she plays Aunt Honey. Her one-liners are the funniest.
Congratulations to both women on their wins!

I saw footage of Melissa’s win. As someone who loves Mike and Molly I’m glad she won. She rocks.
Wasn’t that awesome??? The beauty pageant spin on it was the perfect element! Poetic justice, methinks! I don’t watch Mike & Molly, but I might have to now . . . .
