Chance Encounter…..

We met October 2008 in our town center. Simon said that as soon as he saw me he wanted to get to know me. We didn’t get together until 6th Sept 2009.

I Love Him Because of……

His ability to make me laugh, how he is always encouraging and supporting me in everything including hobbies.

How he loves me, let me count the ways……

He constantly tells me how much he loves me. If I ever feel down he gives me a kiss and cuddle and tells me what he loves about me. If I start saying negative things about myself he tells me to shut up and stop being silly. If I get upset about what anyone else has said to me he says that they are not worth getting upset over and if there was anything wrong with me he wouldn’t have married me. He is always trying to take photos of me as he says he just likes looking at me.

Popping The Question….

I was on a First Aid course with work and on the 3rd day before I left the home he gave me a kiss and then got down on one knee. He told me that he has never felt love like this before and he knows now how his Nan felt when she said after his Grand dad died she would never marry anyone else or love anyone else – even after 21 years she didn’t want anyone else. He told me he was thankful to everything I had done for him and wanted to spend the rest of his life saying thank you and trying to repay it all to me.

Teaching Soul Mates……

I have learned not to take everything too seriously and that life is for living. You only have 1 life so take risks and don’t worry about the future, you can’t do anything when you are dead so make the most of now.

When Simon is down or angry I am the only one who can calm him – he has started now to think things through before acting as the consequences may make things worse.

Being together, listening to each other and working with each other has seen us both through difficult times. By talking things through we have been able to come to a solution and there is nothing that we can’t handle as one.
