Full skirts
Be on the lookout for full skirts to add to your wardrobe. They were hot in the 50s for housewives (especially Lucille Ball) and now they have come back making a huge statement. What I love about full skirts is that you wear them on your waist (not your hips) which will accentuate the smallest part of your body, no matter what your size. You can keep is casual and pair it with a V-neck shirt (tucked in) or you may choose to wear a more 3-dimensional top to give it an extra pop. I recommend wearing a waist belt for solid color skirts. Remember, if your skirt comes to your calves or lower, wear pumps so that you elongate your legs. Look for fun, flirty skirts with bold colors or mesmerizing designs.

It’s spring, it’s only natural that wearing bold, fun colors should be a part of your wardrobe. No need to go overboard with wearing several colors at a time. In fact, you make more of a statement when there is one bold color added to your ensemble, whether it is an accessory, top or bottom. Not sure what color to wear? Yes you can wear them together! At one point in time, wearing mismatched prints was frowned upon and ridiculed. Try to stick to a similar color scheme, since you are mismatching designs, try to match the colors. If either print is black and white, you can pretty much pair it with any floral color combination. Be sure to keep all accessories minimal. Your outfit is already stealing the show, no need to go overboard. This is definitely a bold move to make but what is fashion is you can’t experiment with new things?

Guaranteed to offer a happy ending to any outfit, these sparkly pair will surely add a bounce to your step. What I love most about these shoes is that is can liven up any outfit and compliment it perfectly. Wear some glitter flats for a day out and about or opt for a great pair of peep toe, multi-color pumps for a night out with the girls or that special someone.
These trends are great and so flattering for us curvy women. I’m really happy plus size fashion is leading the way in trends, it’s about time!
