Have you ever been out and about and felt a hand touch your hair while admiring the beauty of your long or short tresses?
Although this rarely happens to me (I have short hair), this happens quite often to two of my close friends. Many women wear weave so when men (& women) see the length and thickness of my friends’ hair, people are often in disbelief and start playing in their hair like they’re a dog (that’s how my friend describes it).
I decided to ask our loyal twitter friends their opinions on the subject and here is what they had to say:

I can see how this would invade a woman’s sense of space. However, I often brush my daughter-in-law’s beautiful long curly hair, and it is one of the most sensual experiences I am likely ever to experience. She enjoys it – often asking me to brush her hair. I enjoy it and it brings us both great pleasure. The texture and perfume of her hair is profound.

I realy don’t mind if you know me or have at least talked to me before once or twice…or ask but I really find it annoying when people (total strangers do it) and yes it has happened to me more than once, LOL!
I agree with @Limarie, it’s a bit strange when a total stranger touches your hair. On the other hand, it’s typically a compliment!
