In your opinion, to be fashion forward this season, what are the one or two must-have trend pieces all women should have in their wardrobe?
What ever your budget maybe this season I believe that if your wardrobe is missing a block colour skirt just like the style Jill Sanders has created then you’re totally missing OUT! It doesn’t matter if you remix it by the high-street version or even if its a homemade and customized unique skirt it’s this seasons MUST HAVE for me. The other Key piece that I feel is an statement element this season is a LACE dress in white, cream or that amazing dusty pink colour but it is also important that is well cut. I feel that this item is a timeless wardrobe essential that we have seen being constantly re-worked from season to season and has been key on this S/S 2011 catwalks. It’s very womanly and perfectly pretty for those bright sunny days we all love).
What is one timeless piece all women must have in their wardrobe without fail?
By the age of 25 every woman in the world should own a black leather Chanel bag (Classic, chic and totally timeless) Good fitting under garments are key and can change a whole outfit from good to perfect.
Are there really any fashion no-no’s?
It is one of my commandments that my clothing fits me properly, so when I see others wearing garments that do not fit properly it upsets me. I feel they haven’t taken the time to learn about their body shape and I feel this is an integral part of getting dress each and everyday.
What is your favorite piece of style advice and who did you learn it from?
No pain no gain! Every woman I have ever partied with has said that at the end of the night she is in sheer pain.
Tell us about an outfit that you own that makes you feel drop-dead-gorgeous.
I love to go out and feel that you should always make an effort, as you never know whom you may bump into! So if im out i.e. parties and events I’m never without my heels It always completes an outfit and I alway feel a little more sexy if I rock my heels.
Who inspires you?
My Mum has a way of making outfits have that extra appeal. She has a way with clothing that adds that final touch. She is always honest with me, so before I leave out I always have a final check with my Mum.
