PROM! For some that word brings back great memories, for others not so great. For me, around this time six years ago, I was driving my mother crazy! I was a 17 year old high school senior who had so many visions about the perfect prom dress! I mean, prom at that time was running neck and neck with the wedding day (I was really tripping), but there was one major detail that I didn’t plan on. The type of dress that I wanted was NOT available to me because of my shape. The result, I got my dress made. Which wasn’t bad at all, but there are a lot of risks with getting your dress made. One of my favorite places to shop is Torrid.com. They have some awesome pieces as well. If you’re looking for edgy, sexy, and chic, this is the spot!
Sydneyscloset.com is one of my little best kept secrets (well not anymore) they have every style of dress up to size 32!
These stores and web sites should give you a kick start on where to look for dresses. My suggestion is don’t wait too late to look and try on as many dresses as possible until you find the PERFECT dress!
