You see it, you want it but something is holding you back from reaching it…fear. It is time to change your perception of things. Perhaps step back and look at the whole picture and address the issues that are causing you to become stagnant in going for your dreams or changing into the person you want to become. For some it may be a career change, for others it may be getting married or starting a family, going back to school or even becoming single and cutting off some bad relationships or habits.
If change is what you want, then you can’t be afraid to get naked. By this I mean you have to get real with yourself about the things that are holding you back, expose those things. Whether some of those things are insecurities, lack of trust, unforgiveness, a broken heart, fear of success or failure, conceit jealousy or self-doubt; there are some things that you have to remove first before putting something new on or starting a new journey in your life. Think about a beautiful form fitting evening gown made just for you to wear to a special event; you can’t get ready by sliding the dress over the clothes you are already wearing. Just try pulling that gown over your head while already wearing a bulky top and jeans underneath and I can almost guarantee you that the dress will rip and become damaged. The dress wasn’t designed for you to wear with all that other stuff underneath; instead it was designed to fit you like a glove based on the perfect measurements of only your body.
So what’s holding you back? Maybe you haven’t even realized that you are still holding onto some old baggage or that you need help putting on your garment because you have been doing everything on your own. Take the time today to think about what some of your goals and dreams are and write those things down on paper or in a journal. Then write the reasons you desire those things, while reflecting on what is holding you back. There are some things that are beyond our control, but you will be surprised what you come up with. Identifying what is holding you back from sliding into your custom gown (reaching your goals and dreams) is exactly what will get you on the right path to reaching those things so now is not the time to be shy, get naked. God Bless!

Limarie… LOVE this… I am feeling the need to do some Spring cleaning, both physically around the house and emotionally as well… so yep, I guess I am ready to get naked this April!
Keep thriving… Valery ~
