For the last 3 years The International Fuller Woman Expo has set the bar high when it comes to celebrating plus size women worldwide. Originating in Canada, hundreds of vendors, exhibitors, models, presenters, performers and patrons travel to the event each year which calls Canada and Detroit, Michigan home.
Executive Produced by Cassandra Jones-McBryde, the 5th Annual International Fuller Woman Expo takes place on September 10, 2011 at the Detroit Historical Museum in Downtown Detroit, Michigan.
Talk show host, comedian and actress Kim Coles is returning as the keynote speaker. Last year Ms. Coles was dynamic as she used real life situations to connect with the women of Detroit, Michigan. This year she will continue the conversation by discussing her latest empowerment series for women called, G.I.F.T.S.
Back for another year is the “Curves In Motion” fashion showcase. Past designers include Carmakoma of Denmark, Lane Bryant Outlet and DOTS.
