As Raven Symone gets ready for the premiere of her ABC Family sitcom, The Great State of Georgia, she sat down with Allure.com and gave the inside scoop on her beauty do’s and dont’s.
What beauty skill are you best at?
My eyebrows. I don’t have any; so I change styles every morning. I’m trying to find the right product. Where I paint, I don’t have any hair, so it tends to come off during the day because no one has created the perfect stays-on eyebrow color. But my shape is a beast. Bring it on Dita Von Teese.
What brow fillers are you using right now?
I use Lingering by M.A.C. I also use [M.A.C.] Strut. I use a Damone Robert’s [pencils]. He’s the “Eyebrow King of Beverly Hills.” He does her eyebrows. [Points to Allure's Victoria Beckham cover.] He does Beyoncé. He does everybody.
Are there any beauty trends that you would never try?
Botox. As soon as I need Botox, I’ll probably quit the industry. People are always saying, “Start young!” And I’m like, “No!” It’s poison.
