Life and Style… Curvy… Daily Venus Diva, the Lifestyle Magazine for Women with Curves

Star Light & Star Bright This New Year’s Eve

Ladies, can you believe that the end of the year has come? Christmas has come and gone, and December 31st is our last chance to “Get it in” in 2010! What better way to say goodbye to 2010 and hello 2011 than looking fabulous when the clock strikes twelve. In previous years the LBD (little black dress) has been our saving grace. Don’t get me wrong the LBD has been my “BFF”; but, at this New Year’s Eve event, let’s bring sexy back, and give the LBD a diva makeover with sequence and sparkle.

The “Star light” trend (one of my sayings) looks great on any curvy shape. Dresses with sequence around the neckline, sleeve and bottom, gives just enough. If you are like me, and love everything shiny and extravagant, go all out and get a knee length dress, adorned with sequence.

CAUTION: If you decide to go full throttle with the sequence dress, keep in mind that sequence shoes or boots can be a tad much for your look. If you have sequence or rhinestone neck line, a boisterous necklace isn’t needed.

Being the “More for Less” poster child I prowled the streets looking for the best deals. I found that JC Penney stores and jcp.com have dresses as low as 29.99! Babyphat.com also has dresses under $30.00! So ladies let’s show 2010 what it will miss and 2011 what it has to look forward to with our sequence, and sparkle dresses.

2010 brought us Joy, laughter, and great fashion. As we say goodbye to the past let’s embrace the future with an open mind and a gorgeous dress. Be safe and enjoy, and I will talk to you in 2011.
