I love a fabulous heel! Nothing makes me feel sexier than stepping out in a stunning peep toe at least 4 inches high.
What is not so sexy is hobbling to the car after an event because you can no longer feel your feet! I continually search for the perfect heel that provides comfort and style.
My fix, kitten heels!
I think that First Lady Michelle Obama would agree with me. Whether she is hosting dignitaries or leading a rally, she rocks a fab kitten heel like it’s a stiletto!
Kitten heels, also known as mid heels in some circles, are roughly no higher than 2 3/4 inches high. They allow you to have all of the style and sophistication of a high heel with the comfort of a flat. A clever trick with a longer pant, the right kitten heel gives the appearance of a stiletto without the pain!
I recommend when choosing a Kitten Heel, always go with a pointed toe when it is enclosed to elongate the legs. I really don’t like a rounded toe unless it is a flat and paired with a very casual look.
You do have to be careful, the height of the heel makes it very easy to go casual when you are not really trying to. Fabric and textures are important when trying to match your Kitten Heel with an occasion such as a satin for a formal look etc.
Here are some of my favorite kitten heels this season:
Corso Como Casey for $110, Zappos.com
Valentino Runway Studded Strappy Pump $895.00 , NeimanMarcus.com
Sigerson Morrison Ankle-Wrap Heel pump $550.00 NeimanMarcus.com
Steve Madden Carlsen $89.95, Zappos.com

These are gorgeous!
I also look for a comfy heel but I have learned the larger the size shoe, the harder it is to find…why is that anyways?
Those Valentino’s are lovely..
Great article !
I am usually the one hobbeling back to the car, what a great idea!
Thank you
@Limarie I know right!! I have a hard time too.. What I do now is get familiar with the store management and ask for their shipment dates.. I make sure I am there the night of the shipment or the day after to that I can find the size 9 that I need!
@ Roula Thanks Chica!
I like the first two!
I especially like the Corso ones.
