As temperatures drop and you beging to bundle up, Celebrity hairstylist Michael Boychuck has some great tips to give fashionistas who are looking for ways to keep their hair intact this Fall/Winter. “The key to gorgeous hair during the winter is to make it appear full, lush and shiny,” says Boychuck. “Colder weather will zap the moisture out of the hair cuticle, leaving it dry and lifeless.”
Hair Care
A savior for hair in need of TLC this winter is the keratin straightening treatment. Keratin treatments, also known as Brazilian straightening, revive and replenish hair leaving it soft, smooth and camera-ready. Keratin straightening eliminates 99% of unruly frizz and will not damage hair, unlike other straightening products and services.
Hair Trends

This season’s ombre trend – darker roots with lighter ends – or highlights that are two shades lighter than your natural color around the face only are both popular trends.

Wearing a turban-style head scarf is a trendy, yet warm and casual way of styling hair this winter.

For hair styles, buns are an easy and effortless, yet chic and stylish way to spruce up your look. Women can give their hair a sophisticated style with a slicked back look, or a more casual look with wearing a loose, messy bun.

I can’t wait till my hair gets this long. I have been wearing it in it’s natural curly state off and on for a while so as to cut down on heat damage….but wash and go’s can also dry out curly hair like mines. I love hair and playing around with different styles both straight curly or wavy. Recently I have tried braidouts to give me a more relaxed curl and even though I liked the results, I noticed a lot more tangles. So I flatironed it and I noticed that it is at bra strap length and I want it longer but split ends are creeping in so I find that one thing that helpd keep hair length and your hair looking great is using the “search & destroy method.” It is very time consuming but if you want length like I am trying to get you go through your hair w/sharp shears and cut off your split ends slightly behind the split….if you don’t get crazy like I did on Sat, then it is barely noticeable and will stop your hair from splitting and looking damaged…take your time with it. Also you can use 100% pure coconut oil or virgin olive oil as a deep treatment for your ends…..:) Hope these tips help you, I have noticed some extra length, usually I have to get a cut by this length due to heat damage
