How do you explain getting a perfect score on a dancing competition on Monday and being eliminated from the same dancing competition on Tuesday? When you figure the answer out, make sure you let R & B singer Brandy Norwood know.
On Tuesday, “Dancing With The Stars” fans and watchers were stunned when the elimination of this 31 year old singer was announced. Througout the competition, Brandy has out performed most, if not all of the contestants. She even got a PERFECT score Monday night, which makes her elimination even more disturbing.
The contestants left to compete for the mirrorball trophy are Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey and Bristol Palin. They will compete in the ultimate dance-off next week.
There are alot of theories surrounding Brandy’s untimely elimination but in my opinion it boils down to votes…..not enough people voted for her. It may be sad, but it’s true. Most of us are fans but how many of us actually watch the show and voted for her? Nonetheless, I’m sure we will see more of her.
The “Dancing with the Stars” finale, which airs Monday (Nov. 22) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC with results to be revealed on Tuesday (Nov. 23) at 9 p.m. ET.
Of the three left, I’m rooting for #TeamKyle, what about you?

Next time just list the people to be on the show and let people vote. Dancing has nothing to do with this sham. The judges are getting nasty in their comments and the dancers getting kicked off are much better than those left on the show. Bristol has tried hard and made improvements, but is not the dancer that those voted off have been. It is time to end this show. Lois
All I can say is keep Sarah Palin out of the ballroom. She is only there to influence the voters and her daughter, although a seemingly nice person, CANNOT DANCE. It really is all about politics and the dag nab Tea Party. Ger her out of there!!!!!! (I mean Sarah and Bristol).

This woman has absolutely no talent. She has no personality, class, nothing. It is unfair to be able to vote for one person 300 times. Dirty politics It’s absord to keep her in the competition She should gracefully step aside knowing that the only reason she is there is politics nothing else. . She knows very well that she can’t dance. Shame on the program, shame on Television and shame on people who vote for her.
I wish they bring Brandy back. The whole show lost its credibility. Terrible. I wonder how the judges feel about this shameful disgusting decision. If I were a judge I would step down or protest big time. .
Never missed a day watching the show since it stated. I will never watch it again. I wish people would do the same . Hope the rating will go down to 0 Never thought that this could go on on a Televison talent show The only thing we need now is for Her to win the competition . Brrrr….

I did not vote for Brandy because she is a diva. She lightened up her diva act after the first few shows but the damage to the diva deception was already created. Max also let his temper fly, rather than demonstrating grace when critiqued. She may have been a good dancer but I vote for the “whole package.” Perhaps this is why she was eliminated.

This is nothing but a popularity contest. The voters don’t know anything about dancing so the judges should be left alone to do the judging…..If this kind of voting continues I for one will no longer be intersted. To have Christal Palin win over Randy and Max is nothing but a political ploy. She should never been on the show in the first place…..she is not a star.
You are overlooking what Bristol Palin has actually accomplished. Even those of us who love her know that she does not have the finesse and professionalism of someone like Brandy, but a few weeks ago she was a nearly unheard of teenager from somewhere in Alaska. She had never seen a studio, never even visited a dressing room and had a fan base of maybe 12. She has endeared herself to America with a personality, determination and attitude that has won us over. In changing her own life, she has managed to touch our lives, too. She has truly become America’s “girl next door”.
Brandy seems to be a snivling, whining diva who thinks that just by being born she was entitled to win and Max’s caustic attitude didn’t win her any votes either. Kyle is an actor with tremendous charisma but not the sincerity of Bristol. Jennifer is also impressing me with her “re-creation”, ability to work through the pain and limitations of a “50-something” body, and a sincere personality.
When people look back at this season, it is Bristol’s transformation they will remember, not the diva that had a perfect score.
Having Bristol Palin win over Brandy and Max is nothing but political votes…Bristol should never have been on the show in the first place, she is not a “star”. The voting should be left up to the judges not to the popularity for the audience, and to be able to vote as many times as one has time for is outrages.
Hey, there isn’t anything that is a sham about this show, and it’s very clear….. outcome is 50% talent/judge’s score, 50% viewer votes. Jennifer Grey and Dirty Dancing were ingrained in my teen years, it’s very nostalgic for me, so I make darn sure I vote for her each week to help keep her in the running. Bristol has got quite the fan base, so good on her. And that cute Kyle Massey, my goodness what a charming little butterball. Love him.

Well, first you recognize Brandy was in the bottom 2 for scores after Monday night’s competition, as she had 57 and Bristol had 53. Four points separated them.
Next you recognized that of the bottom two, the couple you wanted eliminated was voted for by more callers than the couple you wanted kept.
Then you tell yourself, “It’s only a tv show. No need to think it’s more important than it is”.

Absord, unfair, Watched the show for many years, but never again. Talent doesn’t count it seems Politics, and who you know or who your family is. does.
I guess everyone who counted this on being a ‘dancing competition’ was shocked to see Brandy be eliminated, however, like American Idol, the best can get voted off for simply not ‘connecting’ with the viewers. Even Bristol and Mark have been surprised (week after week) at NOT being eliminated, knowing they are underdogs in the technicality & musicality. @Esther S. – I do NOT believe Sarah Palin’s on again off again has anything to do with votiing. People LIKE underdogs in this country. The age of the voter may have something to do with it. Young connect with young. And, if this editorial or even Brandy’s comments regarding WHO should win (both choosing Kyle) – then both of them are voting on connection – NOT dance ability. The 3 standouts from the beginning have been Jennifer, Audrina & Brandy (with Jennifer holding the highest with judges overall & viewers….so….
I am another loyal viewer and I really love the show, but I question the Palin decision. First of all I
attempted to vote for Max and BRANDY FOR OVER 30mins. without success. Finally the message was
a recording to say the voting was over. Frankly everyone with a grain of knowledge can see that
dear Bristol has talents, but dancing is not one of them. I am very disappointed that the show is
now a laughing stock over the air.
I don’t watch dancing with the stars but I just checked out this video and was really impressed at the fancy footwork ….you can tell they spent a lot of time practicing to get this perfect…it really looked flawless and tastefully sexy!

Now I haven’t watched this season of DWTS, but I’ve heard what had happened. But have you heard that story about some nut in Wisconsin who SHOT at his TV set because Bristol Palin was STILL on the show!! Now granted I feel his fustration, but that’s just TOO extreme!! Honestly, that was UNCALLED for!!! If he’s convicted he sould get 10 years in prison!! Now that’s about a long time to think about that!!
I am REALLY tired of all of these people saying that Brandy has this “entitled”, Diva attitude! She has been nothing but gracious on this show! If anyone has been acting “entitled” as of late, it’s Bristol! Brandy has never said one negative thing about Bristol or her partner in the press. Bristol did an interview saying “Maks does not like me! He thinks I don’t belong in this competition..” Why would she do such a thing? To make her toughest competition look bad & ensure more votes for herself! I remember Brandy & Maks were clapping for her after she finished her waltz. Yes, there were many people on the show that were better than Bristol that got voted off, but they still respected the fact that she was there and she was putting forth her best effort. She was shady for speaking ill of Maks, especially BEFORE the shocking results show even happened on Tuesday, so as to discourage people from voting for them.
And then the whole bit about “People are voting for me because I’m real. I’m not your fake, typical hollywood-no offense to anyone out there.” To me, that was an extremely rude, condescending statement. None of the other contestants, besides Jennifer Grey, have dance experience. Brandy’s a singer/actress, Kyle’s an actor, & Jennifer, though she has dance experience, hasn’t danced in a while, is 50 years old, & just had major surgery. All three of them have come far in this competition also. The fact that they just happen to be stars shouldn’t be a reason NOT to vote for any of them because the show is called Dancing With the STARS! Bristol is not as sweet & innocent as she’s been trying to make everyone believe! She said in the video package that she was her mama’s princess & she never gave her any problems until she started dating Levi! Really?? Then she & her sister Willow were cursing someone out & using homophobic slurs on facebook, but BRANDY’S the one with a terrible, diva-attitude???!! And Bristol’s apology for the FB incident wasn’t in regards to anything she & her sister SAID, it was “Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize. On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in Dancing with the Stars!” They actually used the word “fag**t”! Isaiah Washington was just saying that he did NOT call someone a fa—t and got FIRED from his job on Grey’s Anatomy, another ABC show! Interesting.
In the beginning, I had no problems with Bristol as a person. I felt that she could not dance, but she was nice enough & she’s trying, but it seems that her true colors have been showing the closer it gets to the finals. She seems a little full of herself because the Tea Party’s been successful in helping to get so many other MUCH BETTER dancers booted from the show! I think she’s happy that so many people are pissed off to the point of not wanting to watch anymore because then Jennifer & Kyle won’t stand a chance! This is all the more reason why EVERYONE needs to watch & vote for either Kyle or Jennifer. If you don’t vote, don’t complain when Bristol wins it all.
I agree with Ed. I believe it is a right wing conspiracy by the networks. Its some kind of political move. U see Sarah Palin in the audience and she is about to have her own reality show. Think about it: Bristol Palin is not a STAR. This was my first year really getting into the show but after last night….I lost interest!
First and foremost I give all to Brandy she brought it. She came, saw and concered my heart I voter for her each and everytime. Now for Reed Garfield who have you been watching Bristol Palin is not the girl next store. She a teenager who got knocked up at an early age and the only reason she cleaned up her image is because her mother is into politics and that’s that. You really need to check her resume. I wouldn’t let her no where near my 18 year old daughter who’s never been pregant. So to you Brandy you go girl and remember who alreay a STAR…..

I love Brandy and it was great to see that she was back in the swing of things. I did not get to see the show but many of my pals did and all they did was text me on how AMAZING Brandy was on the show and on how ANGRY they were when she was taken off of it.
I am upset with this as well. She did a great job and should still be there.
When I see moves like this from a show it turns me off and I don’t care to watch it again.
They took my Brandy off, I won’t watch it again..plain and simple..
