Beth Ditto not only opened but she closed Jean Paul Gaultier’s spring/summer 2011 show in Paris this weekend.
Ditto kicked off the show in a metallic laser-cut frock, and ended it wearing tulle and flowers.
During the show’s final exit, she burst into song and was joined by a 3-D glasses-wearing Gaultier on the runway. (Guests received 3-D glasses along with their invitations so they could use them to view the 3-D fabrics on display.) Other curvy models in attendance included Crystal Renn.
The tone of this rock ‘n’ roll inspired show was set by Ditto and other models who were seen sporting Joan Jett wigs, leather jackets and Doc Martens (talk about retro). If these photos are any indication, this show was filled with ATTITUDE!!
