With one week away from the 4th International Fuller Woman Expo, I am so excited as I think of the lives that will be changed, the women that will be impacted and the fashion that will grace the runway. The Fuller Woman Expo(TFWE) is dedicated to empowering women to recognize their internal and external beauty, to educate and motivate through workshops and seminars while providing information on the products and services available through companies around the world.

Comedian, Actress and Talk Show Host Ms. Kim Coles is the Guest Speaker and panelist. She is best known for her portrayal of Sinclair on the hit television show, “Living Single”, a role that garnered her 4 NAACP Image award nominations.
The “Evolution of the Revolution” panel discussion during TFWE features authorities in the community that are living their best life as plus size women and whose efforts have made significant strides in the movement.
The panel is led by Judge Karen Mills-Francis who is the critically acclaimed author of “Stay in your Lane” and star of “Jude Karen’s Court”, starting in the Fall 2010. Judge Karen has been called “the most colorful judge on TV,” by The Los Angeles Times.

Panelist, Mia Amber- Mia is the former Producer on the nationally syndicated “Ricki Lake Show”. She is also Co-Producer of TFWE and Co-Founder and President of Pretty Girl Project, a non-profit for girls that is geared toward helping to realize inner and outer beauty.
Panelist, Dr. Cynthia Jones, M.D., F.A.C.S.- Cynthia has 13 years experience in surgery. She was chosen in 2003 to be a member of a delegation of surgeons traveling to Russia to discuss surgical healthcare issues and to participate in an exchange of ideas. Dr. Jones is currently serving as Chief of Surgery at Northern Louisiana Medical Center.
Panelist, Whitney Thompson- Whitney is the winner of Cycle Ten of America’s Next Top Model 2008. She was selected by MSNBC as one of the 12 Most Influential Women of the Year. She has been on the on the covers of a number of national magazines including Seventeen Magazine, Supermodels Unlimited, and Plus Model Magazine. Whitney was also voted Runway Model of the Year by Full Figured Fashion Week.
Panelist, Princess Currence, M.S.W.-Princess is the former Director of the Health Career Programs (HCP) at the University of Michigan that primarily served Michigan high school students, U-M undergraduates, post-baccalaureate students from various colleges and universities. She recently moved to Chicago where she currently serves as the Urban Health Program Director for the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
