After Beyonce had the world singing “If you like it then you should’ve put a ring on it”, simutaneously, Queen Latifah was inspired to name her new TV comedy series about a group of girlfriends looking for love, Single Ladies.
The new show on VH1, revolves around the love lives of three women who will be played by Stacey Dash (Clueless), Lauren London (ATL) and LisaRaye McCoy (Player’s Club).
The show which began shooting in May comes at a time when Queen Latifah is everywhere. From playing the lead character in the newly released Just Wright, relasing a book that teaches women how to unleash their inner Queendom and hosting the BET awards show, it’s obvious that “The Queen” has positioned herself as a key player in the entertainment industry.
