Gabourey Sidibe is scheduled to host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live, according to E Online. There is no exact date but Gabby supporters are excited. Since the next hosts include Jennifer Lopez, Tina Fey, Ryan Philippe and Betty White, it will be at least a month before we get to see Gabby on the long running comedy sketch show.
This news comes after Howard Stern and his side kick Robin Quivers criticized Gabby for her weight and implied that she would never work in Hollywood again. This announcement along with the news that she will be starring in Showtime’s, The Big C, is proof that plus size or not, there is a place in Tinseltown for this award nominated actress.
