If you are like millions of people, last night your television was fixated on BET as you watched the 5th annual Rip The Runway Fashion Show. This year’s show made its flashy return with a new group of designers showcasing their latest collections along with the hottest names in music. With something for everyone, this years show featured designer Tennille White. Tennille is known for constructing exquisite clothing for women with curves.
This Chicago, Illinois native is a charismatic, focused, and extremely artistic fashion designer whose finely crafted collection embodies looks that evoke sophistication and elegance. Her designs are timeless and her supremely wearable silhouettes with modern details strike a fine balance between simplicity and intricacy. While White has been well on her way to setting Chicago’s fashion design industry on fire, she is also one of the country’s up-and-coming young designers, who in a short time has accomplished much and has impressively taken on an exclusive niche market.

As much as I think that Rip the Runway is a great idea the engineers need to concentrate on the clothes for the television audience and leave the live audience to cheer for the artists.
