If you’re a plus size girl whose 5’9 to 6’1 in height, wearing a size 12-20 and between the ages of 13 and 19 you are in luck. Model turned talk show host has announced her latest modeling competition and it’s all about plus sized teens. The competition which she calls, “Fiercely Real Teen Model Search” is a result of the negative connotations associated with being a plus size woman.
The finalists for the competition will be announced during “The Tyra Show” on March 2 and the winner of the first “Fiercely Real Teen Model Search” will be revealed the following day. Like the competition reality series, though, the winner still gets a one-year modeling contract and a spread in a major fashion magazine.

I’m not sure how good this contest was. So many disappointed girls on her site because of the height requirements. Once again plus model seems to only be 5’9 and up. When do average size women and girls get represented???
