Last week we revealed photos of the V magazine “Size Issue” which features a number of plus size models. Since announcing the direction of the new issue which hit stands on January 14th, V magazine has received positive and negative feedback.
It wouldn’t be a “Size Issue” if all shapes and sizes were not celebrated. To keep the theme of the controversial issue alive, V magazine has decided to release two contrasting covers. One cover features size zero actress Dakota Fanning, 15 and the other cover features plus size actress and star of “Precious” Gabourey Sidibe, 26.
Both young ladies were shot in New York City by husband-and-wife photo team Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, with Fanning wearing a corset over a sweatshirt, both by Alexander Wang, and Sidibe showing a bare décolletage.
