You Are Beautiful

To my young ladies please remember that you are beautiful but you don’t need me to tell you so.

You were created by God and like a beautiful flower you have and will continue to grow.  In order to look pretty you don’t have to be half naked to show off what you got, in order to feel pretty you don’t need tight clothing to get attention on the spot.

No need to be short-changed by thinking you have to look like her, or walk a certain way, realize you are a unique, a complete blueprint of individual beauty, a new definition that is not based on getting money.

You see beauty has become defined these days by the money making images we see on magazines and tv, but we never see behind the scenes the price that some pay for this so called beauty.

Eating disorders, drug abuse, botox injections and painful surgeries are all part of the glamour and glitz that Hollywood glorifies as an “end to a means” – a way for some to attain their dreams.

We need positive self-esteem.

The definition of beauty is the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to te mind.  So you see, that beauty truly means many things to many people and there isn’t just one kind.

The uniqueness of your smile and your style makes you stand apart.  Just look at our fingerprints, the Lord gave each one of us a distinct and different beat to our hearts.  So why is it that so many times we get caught up in thoughts o ugliness, whenwe need more than “looks” to be attractive and to others become a success.  You are not a cut out doll meant to be and look like someone else, you are meant to stand apart and be different so please learn to love yourself.

You are special, created perfect in His sight, don’t forget this is true even if you are an identical twin, there can only be one you.

Education, self-love and establishing a relationaship with God is key.  If you don’t practice the above, how do you think you will grow into a strong woman w/successful goals and dreams a woman that makes a difference and contributes to society?

Low self-esteem breeds like a deadly disease, especially amongst females and adolescent teens causing the mind to become hypnotized for some to believe, that starving the body making the soul cry out for the price of vanity is beauty.

That mistreating the body with cigarettes, alcohol and drugs is okay cause you are just chilling with your friends or it’s something that everyone else does.

This is a plea to the female youth of today, you are the future so learn to lead the way.  You are special, you are beautiful don’t forget this is true, there can only be one you.  I’ll say it again just in case you didn’t believe me… you are special, you are beautiful don’t forget this is true and our Father God made you!
