New Year’s Eve Chic

Where did the time go? Christmas is this week and New Year’s Eve is next. For some of us that means toasting a new year with family, having a holiday party or it’s making the rounds to different parties. All of us are wondering, what to wear. I have 2 outfits that are perfect whether you’re attending an office party or going out for a night on the town. Both looks are budget conscious and very chic!

Day time Look

I started real simple, with a Black Sequin Jacket from Evans. This jacket is something you should have in your closet because it can be feminine but edgy at the same time. The jacket has sequins all over, 3/4 sleeves and soft black lining. I showed the front and back so you can get an overall feeling of the look.
I paired it with a simple dress from Torrid. The Black and Grey Seamed Peplum Tank Dress is very soft and stretchy. The dress has a ponte knit bust with a square neck and a stretchy woven grey body with seam details, a front peplum and a front tiered layer with a center kick pleat.
The Dollhouse Bayard Peep Toe Platform Bootie are sold on the DSW site. They have a faux suede upper with synthetic trim, military-inspired contrast stitching and pyramid studs, a round peep toe and a 1″ platform, 4½” covered heel.
All the jewelry is from Forever 21, you may not need all of these but it’s always up to your discretion. The Expandable Jeweled Cuff, Rectangle Jewel Ring, Jewel Sides Necklace and Vintage Jewel Drops are all an excellent choice, inexpensive and fun.

Night Time Look

I wanted something more flirty and fun because you don’t know how many cheeks you’ll be kissing and hugging that night. I chose this dress from Plus Size Fix because it’s simple, which means I have a blank canvas. The Diva Sexy Tube Dress is a plus size florat tube dress! This plus size dress shouts sexy all over. This dress comes in black with a unique pleated design from the waist down.
The shoes which I absolutely love are sold on the DSW site. The Tanngo Suede Platform Bootie in fuchsia are HOT!! It has a suede upper with teardrop cut outs, hidden platform, back zipper, round toe, ¾” platform, 4½” covered heel.
The clutch is a perfect fit; it’s the Textured Rhinestone Wallet from Charlotte Russe. This bag features textured rhinestone faux leather, metal frame, card holder, ID holder, bill pocket, zip coin pocket, and a pull-through clasp.
I wanted to find the perfect jewelry so I relied on a couple of places. One piece is from Charlotte Russe and it’s the Pastel Rhinestone Earrings. The rest are from Forever 21, the Grand Expandable Bracelet, Roberta Jewel Ring and the Tassel Cluster Necklace.
