Jordin Sparks Sings at the 2009 White House Tree Lighting Ceremony

American Idol’s Jordan Sparks is one of the many performers who will take part in the 2009 National Christmas Tree Lighting on December 3. Jordin Sparks rose to fame as the winner of the sixth season of American Idol. In addition to Sparks, other nationally known entertainers and a military band perform and the President brings a message of peace to the nation and the world.

Hosted by Randy Jackson the annual holiday ceremony will take place at President’s Park in Washington D.C., and can be seen live at www.thenationaltree.org on Dec. 3rd at 5:00pm EST/2:00pm PST.
