Fashion Spotlight: Dorothy Perkins

Today’s spotlight is focused on Dorothy Perkins. Founded in 1909, Dorothy Perkins began gaining more attention from customers in 1973. In case you didn’t know, Dorothy Perkins is a British women’s clothing retailer based out of the UK. With product lines that include Jersey, Knitwear, Coats, Tailoring, Denim, Shoes and so much more, what makes Dorothy Perkins special is that they deliver to the U.S. Their clothes are always edgy and they always come with something unique that women want.
Today I wanted to go with a closet staple, something that we all should have in our closet, the navy dress. There are many ways to switch up this dress, you can add a vest, put on tights, put on jeans or even dress it up with jewelry. Today’s inspiration was Coco Chanel, simple pearls and sophisticated shoes. The navy tunic has a sheer peaked shoulder sleeves. The white 3 bar platform shoes are cream colored and very elegant yet simple. The bag is a Max C cream quilt detailed bag with a front lock and chain strap. I added a pearl beaded necklace, that has multicolored pearls and I added pearl earrings. I finished it off with a simple cluster pearl earring.
