Trend Report: Grey Skies

Just because it’s grey skies outside, that doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable. I wanted to work with another color othen than black. So I found something I could wear on a day out, running errands, meeting a friend or stopping by a family members house.

I started with a Women’s Plus Open-Weave Sweater from Old Navy. It’s an open-knit sweater that features a festive mixed-knit pattern down the front with a flared 3/4-length sleeves. I love the simplicity of the shirt.
I paired it with some jeans from Macy’s. It’s the Dereon Plus Size Jeans, Fleur Rock Skinny Black Jack Wash. It’s a Skinny fit through my hips and thighs, with a skinny leg opening, button closure with zip fly. It features belt loops, five pocket style; back button-through flap patch pockets that are embroidered.
I put the look with boots from Baker’s. The “Barby” boot is a convertible over-the-knee boot with features including vibrant microsuede design, striking bow-tie décor, extend up or fold over cuff and stacked heel.
I wanted to put a coat on this outfit because I am in New York and it’s getting colder everyday. The High Collar Felt Coat from Faith 21. This is a double-breasted coat with a fashionable high collar. It features front pockets, sleeve tabs, back slit, and a removable belt.
The jewelry is from American Eagle. The necklace is a Crystal Vintage Necklace and it features large crystal rhinestones, brooch-inspired crystal charms, a silver circle link chain, silver pearlized stones and a secure back clasp. The Rhinestone Leaf Earrings has multiple clear rhinestones, gunmetal encasing, drop leaf shape and secure hook posts. The Rhinestone Cocktail Ring is a Large statement rhinestone top, thick silver band and a domed circle shape.
