Fashion Spotlight: Nordstrom: Plus Size Key Pieces

Today I wanted to do a posting for my online shoppers. Nordstrom has a new section online called “Plus Size Key Three” They showcase three key items needed in your wardrobe for the season.

Three Key Pieces they included all had a pop of color, sparkle & shine as well as feminine detailed dresses. This showcases different items that fit your body and style. I am all for making my online experience easier. So I decided to make an outfit from this shopping guide.

In my closet, I have an array of colors but what I see the most of is the color black. I think black is the easiest color to pair things with but sometimes adding a pop of color, can make a difference in your outfit.

I chose a simple Kenneth Cole “Marilyn Sweater”. It’s a wide, rib-knit collar that folds down over the shoulders of a soft pullover. Three-quarter-length sleeves are finished with button tabs. Very simple and elegant, I paired it with jeans from Michael Kors, it has gold stitching and a metal logo plate on the back pocket detail dark stretch-denim jeans in a classic boot cut. The boots has grommets and buckle tabs detail the side of a tall side-zip boot fashioned from lightly burnished faux leather. For jeweery I added a necklace and a earrings, which I think a big and bold necklace, works well.

I chose the Joe’s Jeans Side Ring Pieced Hobo and it’s a pieced natural-grain leather defines a slouchy, supple hobo detailed with small tabs and D-rings at the sides. Brasstone studs enhance its sophisticated, no-fuss charm. It’s on sale for $98.90.

I know it’s on a high-end side, but I feel once in a while, it’s good to spend a little for better quality and long lasting.
