- Try talking to them about how you feel. Let them know why you like this guy and what your intentions are.
- Plan outings and invite your family to come with you. This may get them to see the side of him that you’ve experienced.
- Let them know how wonderful he makes you feel and why he’s so important to you.
- Express how important their support would be in this situation.
- Hear them out. You never know, they may actually have some valid concerns. Listen to what they have to say. Even if you don’t take their advice, at least they know you value their opinions.
