Following the overwhelming support of its inaugural full-figured model contest in September of this year, Pulse Caribbean Model Search announced it would be launching a TV show exclusively for plus-size models.
The Plus Model reality show follows the same formula as the original and addictive Caribbean Model Search reality series. Semi-finalists were videotaped as they competed against each other for top honours via a series of challenges. Members of the public who are full-figured beauties and who, at some time or another, have dreamt of rocking the runway were invited to enter. The women had to be dynamic, spunky, fashionable and ready to work hard.
The show which debuts Friday at 9 p.m. on CVM TV, showcases the beauty and confidence of full-figured women, while empowering them through the promotion and advocacy of positive body imagery and self-confidence. Week after week contestants show that they have what it takes to be Caribbean’s premier plus model.
