For years sexy halloween costumes have pushed the envelope. Some sexy combinations are borderline inappropriate. There once was a time when dressing scary for Halloween was the thing to do, but that has changed and being sexy is the new norm. From dressing up animals, celebrities, and movie characters to store bought costumes of overly sexy cops, cats, bunnies, nurses, witches and devils, dressing sexy for Halloween has taken on a new meaning. A sexy clown? A sexy baby?! It’s gotten out of control.
As if we’re surprised, youngsters are now mimicking adults and our overly sexy Halloween costumes. Noah Cyrus, the nine-year-old sister of Miley Cyrus, attended the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation’s 16th Annual Dream Halloween party last weekend dressed like, well, we’re not sure. She’s sporting a short tight dress, black patent leather dominatrix heels and red lipstick. At first glance, you may think she’s a witch but she has no cape or witches hat. Noah Cyrus may be rich and famous, but the girl is only nine. She can’t drive herself to whatever costume shop sells children’s hooker shoes so we’re forced to wonder if she ordered this costume online. We wonder if her father, Billy-Ray Cyrus, attempted to sway her costume choice towards a pumpkin, or a princess, or hell, she could have even dressed like Hannah Montana! A nine year old should NOT be allowed to dress like this for Halloween and someone needs to be held responsible.
